MORDERN WOODLAND:
A WEDDING AT THE SEATTLE AQUARIUM

Elegant. Modern. Whimsical. Elevated. These are the words used to describe the design of this epic event where we transformed the Seattle Aquarium into a romantic PNW woodland wonderland. The color palette transitioned with the event, from a light, airy, bright outdoor waterfront ceremony in shades of white and champagne to an indoor moody, immersive, candlelit reception with the addition of black and deep burgundy. The clients likened the journey they would take guests on as one from life to death, much like the wedding vows that they took. Unconventional design elements (for the Aquarium) included lush NW greens, luxurious velvet linens, raw-edged wood kings’ tables and the gorgeous black and white dance floor anchoring it all. The end result was exactly as the couple were imagining…immersive and unforgettable.
